Job Title: Early Childhood Music Faculty
The successful applicant will be a passionate and talented musician/singer to teach group music classes for children ages 2 to 6 years. The Early Childhood Music Program introduces toddlers and children to basic music concepts while supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through creative play.
Responsibilities:

Develop a plan for weekly classes according to age group

Demonstrate an understanding of basic music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts in a developmentally appropriate and age-appropriate manner with toddlers, and preschoolers.

Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials for students
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Music
-
Have experience working with young children
-
Fun personality / be able to connect with children
-
Must feel comfortable in an active and noisy setting

Ability to interact effectively with both children and adults

Effective time management and organizational skills to keep a group of students engaged
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Being creative and proactive
-
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Schedule:
-
2 days a week for 15 weeks per semester and summer classes
Salary:
-
Bachelor’s Degree $36 per hour, Master’s $41 per hour
